Eden Foods Organic Canned Great Northern Beans

U.S. organic family EDEN Great Northern Beans are soaked overnight, and pressure cooked with no chemical additives at Eden Foods’ organic, kosher cannery. A mild and very versatile white bean. It is featured in the traditional French dish, cassoulet. Great Northerns are the seed in the typical green bean pod, fully matured and dried. This white bean reached the U.S. about 300 years ago from Europe, coming from South America to Europe first. EDEN Great Northern Beans are a Heritage New World variety, creamier with lighter skin than Cannellini or White Kidney beans. Use them for baked beans, soup, stew, in dips, and spreads. They take on the tastes of what they are cooked with. No salt added EDEN beans in BPA, BPS, and phthalate free cans since 1999.
