Hailing from Italy’s Lombardy region, Mascarpone - often referred to as "Italian Cream Cheese"  is a buttery-rich, double-cream cheese made from cow’s milk. It has an ivory color and its velvety texture is a bit like whipped butter or stiffly whipped cream.

Mascarpone is the main ingredient in tiramisu and it is also the perfect addition to many Italian desserts.  It has the versatility to be blended with different flavors and is often served with fresh fruit, pastries, desserts and vegetable dishes.
